Kristian Ferry, M.D., F.A.C.S

Surgical Oncology and General Surgery

Dr. Ferry is certified by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is one of the very few Society of Surgical Oncology-trained Surgical Oncologists in Oregon.

Education

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Ferry received his undergraduate degree in general and molecular biology from the University of California-Irvine. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin (Marquette University) in 1994. After completing a surgical internship at the University of Hawaii he went on to five years of general surgery training at Baylor University in Texas. He then finished training with a two-year fellowship in surgical oncology at the University of Miami in Florida.

specialties and areas of interest

Dr. Ferry’s areas of specific interests include melanoma and other rare skin cancers, breast cancer, colorectal surgery, hernia surgery, endocrine surgery, and soft tissue sarcomas of the trunk and extremity.

Personal Interests

In his spare time, Dr. Ferry enjoys travel and time spent with his wife and two daughters. Tending to the Pinot Noir plants in his vineyard and wine making are among his other passions.
